CrossWordy is a 6×6 word-discovery game built around deduction. There are no traditional crossword clues. Make a guess, use the feedback and gradually uncover the hidden words in the grid.

UNDERSTAND THE FEEDBACK
What the letters are telling you
Every guess gives you information. Learning what each letter state means is the key to solving CrossWordy efficiently.
Perfect Match
Correct letter, correct position. Every copy of that letter is revealed and locked across the puzzle.
Jumbled Letter
The letter belongs in the selected word, but it is in the wrong position.
Wrong Letter
The letter is not part of the selected word, helping you rule out possibilities.
Discovered Letter
This letter has already been discovered and is now locked in place.
Available Letter
This letter is still available to use when building your next guess.
Solved Word
When a word is solved, its letters change to green.
THE KEY RULE
Find one. Reveal them all.
When you correctly discover a letter, every matching occurrence of that letter is revealed and locked across the puzzle.
That means progress in one word can suddenly unlock several others. CrossWordy is not about solving each word separately — it is about using every discovery across the whole grid.
PLAYING THE GRID
Use every guess wisely
Switch direction
If a square belongs to both an across and a down word, tap it again to switch between the two directions.
You have limited guesses
Each puzzle gives you 10 guesses only. An incorrect guess can still be useful if it teaches you something about the hidden word.
Tip: before pressing Guess, ask yourself what new information the word might give you.
IF YOU GET STUCK
Reveal as much — or as little — as you need
Reveal tools are available from the Game Menu whenever you need some help.
Reveal Letter
Reveal the selected letter everywhere it appears in the puzzle.
Reveal Word
Reveal the selected word only. Matching letters elsewhere remain hidden.
Reveal Puzzle
Reveal the whole puzzle and end the current attempt as unsolved.

COMPLETE THE PUZZLE
Keep discovering until every word is solved
Use what each guess teaches you, move around the grid and gradually uncover every hidden word.
If you run out of guesses, the solution is revealed so you can see what you missed and take that knowledge into the next puzzle.
